It now employs over 180 staff members and delivers world-class transportation solutions to 60% of the Kenyan market. The company runs a fleet of 121 vehicles and focuses on consumer and corporate account work.
Before the discovery of Sherlock, Pewin Cabs managed the fleet manually and dispatched over radio. The company approached Haulmont and Addison Lee for consultancy on many topics, such as new technologies, operations, and how to manage rapid growth. Pewin Cabs visited Haulmont in London to gain insight and develop a strategic plan for Kenya.
The Sherlock installation process was very well managed with a high degree of localisation to Kenyan geography through the customisation of Sherlock to use point-of-interest addresses rather than postcodes. Pewin Cabs were impressed by the on-going support received from the Sherlock team.
